Our Story
The name miit, inc. originates from our core belief: "make it in tailor-made."
Our journey began when a resident Indian entrepreneur in Kobe approached our founder, Takao, with a heartfelt challenge:
"I want to break into Japan's tourism industry, but I have no idea where or how to start."
Driven by a passion to dissolve such barriers, Takao established miit upon a single, guiding philosophy: "To build a society where taking on new challenges is second nature."
Drawing on deep background expertise in the hotel industry, Takao launched the business just as Japan’s inbound travel market began to surge. By forming strategic alliances with small-scale, licensed local travel agencies, miit initiated its first step toward transforming regional access into global opportunities.
What We Do
Content Planning & Facilitation based on local trusted networks
Content Planning & Facilitation Delivering "Exclusive Access"
At miit, we are a specialized Content Planning & Facilitation Company that designs bespoke, high-value programs for international travel agencies, educational institutions, investor groups, and high-net-worth individuals.
Exclusive Cultural Experiences
We curate private encounters at sites permanently closed to the public—including katana forges, premier Nishikigoi breeding farms, master iron-kettle and ceramic ateliers, historic sake breweries, private geisha banquets, and temple sessions with Buddhist monks.
Business & Study Tourism, Agri Tourism and Eco Tourism
We organize high-level exchange sessions, factory visit, farmers and lectures featuring Japanese business leaders, certified professionals, tech startups, local governments, venture capital networks, Best Tourism Villages and Educational associations.
Local Partner & Craft Facilitation
Leveraging the deep regional trust built through our tourism operations, we act as a dedicated Japan Local Partner for you. We connect global buyers, interior designers, and overseas brokers directly with master artisans to facilitate the acquisition and export of prestigious regional assets, such as museum-grade Nishikigoi and rare gold-thread Nishijin textiles.
Why Choose Us
Unmatched Agility & A Proven Track Record with Complex Demands
Whether it is securing private access to restricted wholesaler areas at Toyosu Market, sourcing a sake brewery for custom liquor production, or reserving a historic temple for private tasting sessions, we fulfill requests that others deem impossible. Our relentless dedication to custom solution-building (Tailor-Made) is the sole reason we command "Exclusive Access" across Japan.
100% Resource Allocation on Content & Regional Relationships
To ensure complete legal compliance and operational excellence, all travel arrangements (accommodation, transportation, and packaged itineraries) are handled in strict partnership with licensed local travel agencies. By delegating travel logistics to licensed professionals, miit focuses 100% of its resources on crafting extraordinary content and building unshakeable relationships with local masters.
