Program Itinerary

Day 1:Osaka, Arrival

-Meet & Greet at the airport: Our staff member will welcome you at Kansai International Airport (KIX).

-Local Train Journey: Enjoy a scenic local train ride as we guide you to your pre-booked hotel.

-Program Orientation: An introductory session to go over the 21-day program overview and goals.

-Local Food Walk: After check-in, dive into Osaka's energy with a "street-food style" tour featuring the city's most iconic local dishes

Day 2: Osaka, Essential Guided Tour

-You will join in our group tour to enjoy the atmosphere of Osaka.

-City Layout Orientation: A guided tour designed to help you understand the urban structure of Osaka.

-Historic & Modern Landmarks: Visit the bustling Dotonbori district, the symbolic Osaka Castle, and the cutting-edge urban developments in the Umeda area.

-Free time in the afternoon, but don't worry. We will propose the best plan to enjoy Osaka.

Day 3: Osaka, The History of Old Gun Smith

-Sakai Visit: Explore Sakai, a city world-renowned for its traditional cutlery.

-Swordsmith Atelier: Witness a legendary swordsmith at work, experiencing the intense heat and rhythmic sound of forging steel up close.

-Old Gunsmith Museum: Visit a historic gunsmith's residence from the Edo period to learn about the origins of Japan’s precision manufacturing (Monozukuri).

-Free time in the afternoon, but don't worry. We will propose the best plan to enjoy Osaka.

Day 4: Osaka, Meet an artisan of traditional teawares (Living National Treasure)

-This experience is a hulf day program, so you can enjoy Osaka along your plans. If you have any ideas or requests for your better stay, please aske us in advance.

Day 5: Osaka, Understanding Japanese SMEs

-Today you will join in the full day program to improve your business skill.

-Entrepreneurship Hub: Visit startup support facilities in Osaka.

-Field Study: Visit Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and the Chamber of Commerce to learn about Japan's unique business ecosystem and industrial resilience.

-This program starts from the afternoon, so you can refresh in the morning.

Day 8: Kyoto, Local Guided Tour

-This is the first day to enjoy Kyoto as a traveler. So you will join in our group tour to hop must-visit spots.

-World Heritage Sites: Visit Kyoto's most famous landmarks, including Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, and the Gion district.

-In-depth Guidance: Discover the deep historical and cultural stories behind these iconic sites with our expert guide.

Day 9: Kyoto, Zen Mindset & Inner Peace

-This wellness experience will be held in the morning time.

Day 14: Kobe, Transfer to Kobe

-You will move to Kobe from Nara with a staff from miit,inc. by local trains.

-Kobe Visit: Guided tours in the cosmopolitan port city of Kobe.

-International History: Walk through the Kitano Ijinkan (historic foreign residences) and the Old Settlement area to trace how Japan opened its doors to the world.

Day 15: Kobe, Global Community Exchange

-International Networking: Join a meetup with the foreign community based in Kobe.

3 Benefits from miit,inc.

Flexible program starting dates

This program is not a group and packaged tour. We will accept you according to your requests. For example, you can start this program from Janurary if you will be a gap year student. And you can also start this program from August if you have a long vacation. Please tell us your desire when you send an inquiry.


All accommodations booked by yourself

We will ask you to book your accommodations by yourself. There are 3 reasons.

1st is that all travelers want to book their hotels according to their budget, who don't want to pay some margins to travel companies.

2nd is that it is very easy to book accommodations thanks to online platforms like Expedia, Airbnb and so on. Therefore, we don't want to force you to pay the margins to us.

3rd is that some of you want to stay in general hotels without other room mates,and others want to stay with someone at Guesthouses. These preferences are completely different from each other.

Of course, we will tell you our reccommending areas and accommodations because you will participate in our programs almost every day. It must be good access to your accommodations.


Not just making temporary friends but connecting with locals

If you want to make new friends during Japan trip, it must be better to join in other group tours or stay at guesthouses where you can meet new travelers. However some of them told us that it was good experience and enjoyed talking with them, but that is all. Although they wanted to find your new visions or something beneficial for your future, they couldn't.
